The National Buy Here, Pay Here Conference (NABD 2011) May 18-20, 2011 at the Venetian, Las
Vegas, Nevada
Houston, Texas – January 12, 2011. The National Alliance
of Buy Here, Pay Here Dealers (NABD) today announced preliminary details for its 13th
annual National Buy Here, Pay Here Conference. The conference will again be held at the fabulous Venetian Resort
and Casino in Las Vegas, which was recently selected as the number one casino/resort in Las Vegas by Travel &
Leisure Magazine.
"The event this year is a Wednesday – Friday format with more than 2,000 expected attendees" said Ken Shilson,
NABD Founder and Conference Chairman. The conference will begin early Wednesday afternoon and conclude by 2:00 PM
on Friday, May 20th. "NABD is the largest used car conference in the United States and the only one exclusively for
buy here, pay here operators and service providers," Shilson stated. The Buy Here, Pay Here industry is now the
most profitable segment of the automotive industry and this event is a must-attend for those involved in the
industry.
This year’s conference theme is focused on "Improving the Image of the BHPH Industry" which is critical given
the heightened legal and regulatory environment in Washington. "We must get America to understand that BHPH
provides transportation to millions of Americans who otherwise could not obtain the financing needed to purchase a
vehicle. This event will help those in the business and those who wish to enter it to better understand what is
needed to change the negative perceptions many people have of the BHPH industry," Shilson said. Attending is the
way operators can "set the record straight" and make a difference!
The educational sessions will include presentations and panels covering legal and regulatory matters including
the new Consumer Financial Protection Act, the use of social media, finding capital, maximizing recoveries, finding
the best customers on the internet, vehicle acquisition and reconditioning, the best systems and processes, new
technology, the latest industry trends and benchmarks and much more. Our keynote speaker this year will be Greg
Link, co-founder of Franklin Covey, who will discuss how to build trust. In addition, the program will feature a
Washington perspective on what the industry can expect in the future and the regulatory environment of today. The
program will include interactive panels with many of the nation’s best operators who will provide important best
practice insights to enhance profits and cash flow.
