NABD Announces Buy Here, Pay Here Dealer Training Academy May 16-17, 2011

Dealers (NABD) today announced that it will host a two-day dealer training academy covering all the important financial and operating aspects of buy here, pay here. The academy will be held at the fabulous Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 16-17, 2011. The Venetian was recently voted as the number one hotel in Las Vegas by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

Ken Shilson, CPA who is the founder and President of NABD indicated that the academy program is designed to provide in-depth comprehensive training on all facets of buy here, pay here operations. It is ideally suited for people entering the BHPH business, for key employees seeking to expand their knowledge and skills, and for those who are really serious about improving their existing operations. All sessions will include an operator’s perspective on best practices.

The academy will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 16, 2011 and will include experts like attorney Tom Hudson on legal and regulatory compliance; Rick Potter, CAR Financial President, on underwriting and capital; Amanda Savage of Manheim Auctions on acquiring and reconditioning the right vehicles, and many other experts covering all the other important aspects of the BHPH business. The sessions will also include interactive panels with several of the nation’s best operators who will offer best practice suggestions. The academy will feature several of the best speakers and experts from the last twelve years of NABD National Conferences. "It will include the best of the best," Shilson said.
